weird .. im looking at my stats and i had so many hits for my post on scarves on the 19th of sept .. hopefully it has nothing to do with the islamabad bombing .. theres nothing to see there anyway (my post i mean) .. just me rambling on about scarves under the false pretention that i know something about fashion .. heh
so anyway .. still on fashion .. i am soooooo into etsy right its not even funny .. i have right now made a secret (it being secret cos i dont want anyone to know so that when i break it, it wont be a big deal .. heh .. cos no onw knows) vow to buy ONLY handmade items from now on .. ive never realised this but there are sooooo many creative people out there! .. heh DUH .. i know .. but seriously some of the things are so nice and different and one of a kind – and i just LOVE it .. wish i could get half of the shit in there .. but alas – since its handmade and all – it has to be expensive .. so ive limited – well on a mission actually to get something that is below $10 .. im gonna get earrings, rings, brooch and also necklace .. yes .. so wish me luck .. im gonna post some of the cool stuff that i couldnt afford .. heh ..
by the way there is actually a site where you can make a public vow to never ever buy anything that is not handmade .. that is a bit extreme but looking at the stuff in etsy and also some other sites – i think i could live with that .. cos most of the stuff in there are actually waht ive been looking for all along .. u know .. or something like that … u know how sometimes u see something that u HALF like and wish it had more gold or wish it didnt have any diamonds on it and shit like that .. yea so stuff in etsy – cant find anything wrong with the ones i like .. well except for the price maybe .. well most of the time its that .. anyway the point is – its different …
having said all that tho .. i am still wishing for my tiffany mesh and frank gehry ring .. heh ..
