so anyway .. still on fashion .. i am soooooo into etsy right its not even funny .. i have right now made a secret (it being secret cos i dont want anyone to know so that when i break it, it wont be a big deal .. heh .. cos no onw knows) vow to buy ONLY handmade items from now on .. ive never realised this but there are sooooo many creative people out there! .. heh DUH .. i know .. but seriously some of the things are so nice and different and one of a kind – and i just LOVE it .. wish i could get half of the shit in there .. but alas – since its handmade and all – it has to be expensive .. so ive limited – well on a mission actually to get something that is below $10 .. im gonna get earrings, rings, brooch and also necklace .. yes .. so wish me luck .. im gonna post some of the cool stuff that i couldnt afford .. heh ..
by the way there is actually a site where you can make a public vow to never ever buy anything that is not handmade .. that is a bit extreme but looking at the stuff in etsy and also some other sites – i think i could live with that .. cos most of the stuff in there are actually waht ive been looking for all along .. u know .. or something like that … u know how sometimes u see something that u HALF like and wish it had more gold or wish it didnt have any diamonds on it and shit like that .. yea so stuff in etsy – cant find anything wrong with the ones i like .. well except for the price maybe .. well most of the time its that .. anyway the point is – its different …
having said all that tho .. i am still wishing for my tiffany mesh and frank gehry ring .. heh ..

all weddings are from offbeat bride .. for a different twist to your normal everyday wedding
when i went to the US in May i was soo happy that it was slightly cold (10 to 20 degrees c) and i get to wear SCARVES!! .. too bad i didnt bring any of mine but my aunt and my sis brought theirs so i just wore theirs .. which is cool cos ive been trying to find a reason to wear one since FOREVER .. yes cos i could never wear it over here and in fact if i see anyone wearing a scarf under the blistering hot sun – im just gonna slap them ..
so anyway .. i love em .. and wish i could wear them more

and lastly the controversial palestinian scarf .. which im also kinda lovin it right now and am thinking of getting one .. saw one guy wearing it at ‘the police’ concert and back then i was like ‘what?? he crazy!’ .. but now its more like ‘hmm .. that could actually work’ .. and it looks cool too .. dunno why it should be controversial tho – if it symbolises solidarity then by all means – shouldnt we all wear it? .. anyway -as i understand its also popular amongst the emo and hiphop crowd .. in 2007 or something .. and apparently its selling like hotcakes in urbanoutfitters – and im kinda hating that fact right now cos im not really the urban-outfitter type .. but whatever – i love it anyway
